We’re now more than a month into our full independence from the European Union, with the transition period having expired on New Year’s Eve, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be penning this newsletter from an independent United Kingdom.

We want to share some information with you about our mission going forward, and to bring to your attention a new project we’ve been working on for some time, a news website inspired by the Brexit ethos, called The Foxhole.

Firstly, we’d like to once again thank each and every one of you for the essential role you played in our campaign and in our nation’s effort to leave the failing European Union. Without your support, this campaign never would have been able to survive the ruthless attacks from our political and media elites. But here we are five years later. You all made it possible.

And your votes and continued pressure made sure that, once we had voted Leave, we actually did leave. It was a long and difficult journey, but we made it.

Having accomplished our initial mission to get Britain out of the EU, we’re not just going to abandon the huge and viral movement we’ve been fortunate enough to build.

The power of our efforts as a broad-based movement was felt in 2019 when we helped pave the way for Boris’s purge of anti-Brexit MPs from the Conservative benches through our devastatingly effective deselection campaign.

With nearly a million followers on Facebook and nearly three hundred thousand on Twitter, we have the infrastructure to keep piling on the pressure and push for reform in this country, while battling enemies old and new. Brexit wasn’t just about leaving the structures of the European Union – it was about giving control back to ordinary people, and making their voices heard.

That’s why we’re carrying on the fight.

Donald Trump’s exile, imposed by Big Tech has heightened concerns the playing field is tilted even further in favour of the left. We’re keeping a watchful eye on Silicon Valley giants in thrall to the new Biden regime while more traditional media, mainly the BBC continue to spout dangerous liberal garbage.

The New Year kicked off with unfunny jokes about Nigel Farage, naturally Keir Starmer didn’t receive the same treatment. Since then, the BBC has told us there are a hundred different genders, two simply isn’t enough, to hell with biology. And it gets more unsettling, last week a dead IRA terrorist was described as a “veteran”.

The BBC won’t be brought to heel because Marxist agitators are now out in the open, thanks largely to the warm reception given to often violent Black Lives Matter protests in the summer. The long-term mission to erase British culture is firing on all cylinders. This week it was revealed 70 of Britain’s most treasured monuments and statues have been or are in the process of being scrapped.

The National Trust’s Stalinist report connecting many of Britain’s most cherished homes and gardens with slavery received £100,000 in government funding, we learnt this week. The report’s author is so avowedly anti-British she previously wrote a book entitled Green Unpleasant Land: Creative Responses to Rural England’s Colonial Connections.

Still posing a threat is the EU. The bloc’s disastrous attempt to roll-out vaccinations has exposed not only Brussels’ incompetence but its preference for bullying over building bridges. This was hammered home last week with the EU’s export ban on life-saving jabs that for a moment threatened peace in Ireland.

Our own campaign has suffered from EU meddling, having registered our web address in Ireland to retain the “.EU” suffix of our brand, two weeks ago we found the EU agency responsible for web domains had pulled our site without warning. We are now safely registered in Britain under https://leaveeuofficial.com/.

After campaigning for more than half a decade, we’re all too familiar with the challenges our society faces, a biased media infiltrated by the far left but also committed to rapacious globalism embodied by the European Union. Big Tech and corporates petrified of not appearing woke are pulled in the same opposing directions, marginalising Leave.EU’s fight for the preservation of traditional values, national heritage, and decent common sense.

The left’s capture of the media is the reason why the Foxhole has been launched, to present you with the news stories and perspectives that they refuse to give column inches to.

Since December’s launch with no fanfare, the site has received a staggering three million page views. We hope you’ll visit the site foxhole.news and have a look around. We’ll be adding more features and content in the coming months.

In the meantime, we urge you to continue to support Leave.EU’s campaigning. Every single donation helps us make a difference so please consider making a contribution and let us know what you want for our country during these challenging times.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this email, and we hope to be in touch a lot more regularly in the future!
